My wish is that this website may educate potential patients, serving as a source of information about hair loss and hair transplant surgery so that in seeking treatment patients will not be at risk for being fooled by false or bad professionals. A patient who is educated and better guided will less likely be deceived.
It is sad to say, but for every good specialist in this area, there are at least 100 inexperienced or careless amateurs, who are not prepared to perform hair transplant surgery and who therefore offer results far below what can be provided today. In doing so, they sustain the stigma that hair transplantation yields artificial or unaesthetic results.

Since good results are so natural and imperceptible that they go unnoticed and only the poor results are seen, this anti-marketing of the technique is perpetuated, as only one artificial result is enough to discourage hundreds of potential patients.

It is absolutely imperative that the false notion that hair transplant surgery only provides artificial and unaesthetic results be ended. We are living in the new millennium and the levels of sophistication and technology that we have today cannot be compared to those that we had a few years ago. The era of the “pluggy” look, sudden, unnaturally straight hairlines and other unaesthetic results are behind us. If performed well, by experienced and competent hands, hair transplant surgery offers absolutely natural results, helping to return the self-esteem and joy of living to many people.
